Munson Cancer Services has medical social workers
with expertise in the psychosocial and emotional needs of cancer
patients. Munson Medical Center understands the dynamic needs
of a person living with cancer, including the adjustments that
must occur with a new diagnosis. Social workers help each patient
and their family members to understand what resources are available
in the community, such as financial assistance and help with transportation
and housing.
