Lifeline
is a personal emergency response system, linking subscribers to
24-hour assistance at the push of a button. Lifeline was created
for people who may live alone, are concerned about security or
personal safety, are at risk for falls, or are handicapped or
disabled.
A small, portable Personal Help Button
is worn on a neck chain, wrist, or clipped to clothing. A Lifeline
Communicator is connected to the subscribers home telephone
line. When the Personal Help Button is activated, an automatic
call for help is transmitted. Highly trained personnel answer
the call for help and see to it that the appropriate assistance
is provided (whether by nearby friends, relatives, or by activating
the emergency response system).
The Lifeline Emergency System is available
throughout the Munson Healthcare system and can be accessed by
calling (231) 935-9133.
If you are a Munson Healthcare patient and have a compliment,
concern, or complaint, please contact one of our Patient
Liaisons.
