Kalkaska Memorial Health Center is a community non-profit
health center, organized as a district hospital. Kalkaska Memorial
Health Center opened in 1953 and now serves over 35,000 outpatient
visits per year. Our primary mission is to serve the health care
needs of Kalkaska County residents and the people who visit and
pass through the County.
The facility has eight acute care beds and an attached
88-bed Long-term
Care Unit, with 28 of the beds being specially designed for
dementia residents. Kalkaska Memorial Health Center provides 24-hour
emergency
services, both through the emergency room and ambulance service.
On the hospital's active medical staff, there are five family
practice physicians organized as Kalkaska
Family Practice with offices attached to the hospital and
in Mancelona at the Jabarra Health Center.
