Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from an accredited school of Pharmacy, and state licensure required.

Specialties

Opportunities exist to work in an in-patient (hospital setting) or outpatient (retail) pharmacy.

Scholarships

$2,500 tuition reimbursement per calendar year is available. Must be employed by Munson Medical Center and working at least 16 hours per week to receive this benefit. Guidelines are defined in Munson Medical Center's Tuition Reimbursement policy.

Specific Duties

• Interprets and accurately dispenses prescription orders
  
• Provides patient consultation and education for medication therapy
  
• Supervises clerical and technical personnel
  
• Provision of clinical pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care

Salary Expectations

• Base $34.39 - $54.58 per hour
• $.70 per hour shift differential afternoon shift (3 - 11 pm)
• $2.00 per hour shift differential midnight shift (11 pm - 7 am)
  
• Midnight incentive paid out two times per year
• Incentive plans for outpatient pharmacy
