Munson Medical Center's Volunteers offer scholarships
each year to qualified applicants for studies in
health-related career fields at a Michigan-accredited college.
Most of our scholarship funding comes from Gift
Shop profits. We provide scholarships to people in the area
who are pursuing education in health-related fields, such as nursing,
radiology, and dental hygiene, as well as pre-med and pharmacy.
We provide scholarships to:
Encourage the study of medicine
Invest in the success of area youth
Show appreciation to the community for patronage of our Gift
Shop and Munson Medical Center
The scholarship award is for funds payable directly
to the college toward tuition.
Eligibility Requirements (new applicants):
Be a resident of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Kalkaska,
Wexford, or Antrim counties for a period of at least six months prior to application.
Be pursuing a health-related program of study at an accredited college in Michigan.
Must provide your most recent transcript verifying a minimum of 3.0 grade point average based on a 4.0-point scale.
