As
a regional referral center, Munson Medical Center serves patients
who travel a great distance for quality health care. The Munson
Manor Hospitality House is a "home away from home" for
family members of out-of-town patients who face the added stress
of traveling during a loved one's hospitalization. The facility
is also available for patients and their caregivers who must
provide their own lodging during outpatient treatments and procedures.
Munson Manor offers 30 rooms that can accommodate
up to 54 people, including two RV pads with connections. It is located behind Munson Medical Center at 1220 Medical Campus Drive (corner of Brook Street). A

Munson Manor is a non-profit operation sponsored
by Munson Medical Center and the Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation.
It is a smoke and alcohol free environment. There is a room charge
that varies with the different rooms that are available. Cost
range is $30 - $55. Special room payment arrangements are available
to those in financial need. Because the room charge is minimal,
we do welcome guest donations to help ensure that we may continue
providing these services to others in the future.
There are four kitchens (one is handicap assessible)
available for guest use. Guests may bring their own groceries
to cook their meals; however, there are basic food items available
for guest use. We ask that guests clean the kitchen area after
use.
Local community groups and volunteers donate
their time preparing a complimentary meals periodically for our
guests. Others donate non-perishable foods that are available to all guests as needed.
Each room has a telephone and clock radio with an
alarm. Although there are no televisions in the guest rooms, there
are TV lounges on the first and second floors, and a recreation room with TV and toys for children on the lower level. The second floor
lounge has a library with many games, puzzles, and books for guests
to enjoy. For guests with laptop computers, wireless internet service is available on the second floor and other locations within Munson Manor.
Washers and dryers are available for use at no cost,
along with detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. Bed linens, towels, and extra pillows are
also furnished.
We are very proud that the Munson Manor Hospitality House
is more than an affordable place to stay. We believe our guests
are part of a "family" with others far from home.
All age groups can share their experiences offering support and
companionship to others. The Residential Manager and a staff of compassionate volunteers are available
6:30 am - 8 pm, 7 days a week to answer any questions
or just listen.
